VTech's ST Series of Electrical Safety Test Equipment verifies the correct operation of refrigeration and air conditioning units, built with either 1ph or 3 ph power. The framework consists of a PC control cabinet and interchangeable testing modules, allowing the end user to select the types of tests they desire including Earth Continuity, Insulation Resistance, Dielectric Strength, Earth Leakage current and Power Consumption. Special adaptations, for example to test with the unit under power, can be made as well.

VTech's PT Series of Performance Test Equipment can test units operating at 1ph or 3ph power. Using a central control and data-collection system connected by wire or wirelessly to data acquisition boxes, which communicate with the hub, measure performance values over time. Key factors such as the time of the test, whether or not there is a defrost cycle and how many temperatures are to be recorded during the cycle, all come into play when determining how many data acquisitions boxes are required to meet productivity.

Each system can be interfaced with the plant's information network and data is recorded and stored for quality control purposes.
